Job Definition

This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Quality Manager from a CNC machining background to take on a challenging and rewarding position in a dynamic SME environment.

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, revising and implementing quality standards and policies within the Company. To provide clear leadership for the development of an environment focused on Quality. Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation process.

The Quality Manager will work proactively with all Directors, Managers and Employees, to maintain a programme of continual improvement within their areas of responsibility. Lead a ‘correct at source’ and problem-solving methodology, whilst working with the teams to achieve quality targets for customers and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee our current quality system, ISO 9001:2015, and liaise with external assessment bodies for accreditation processes.

  • Conduct complex first-off and final inspections, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.

  • Prepare comprehensive FAIR reports and fulfil complex customer quality report requirements.

  • Foster effective communication across all levels of the business and with external customers.

  • Lead and drive quality initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction and business goals.

  • Conduct monthly internal audits, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for continuous improvements
